Per Deb’s Request, the Song That Should Have Gone Up Friday

We have a tradition here on Argh that the Drifters sing on the day after Thanksgiving. This year, I blew it, but Deb Blake reminded me two days late. I apologize profusely.

  1. One of my favorite traditions! Well done, Jenny!

Also, I just finished A (GINGERBREAD) DIORAMA OF DEATH by Gin Jones, a Helen Binney Mystery Kindle Edition. Since I lost my TBR list, and it was fresh in my memory and first in my Kindle List sorted by date acquired, it was the top of my new list. Well done, Gin!

      1. OK, I skipped the first link and just clicked on the bottom one, and that went straight to the video. Thanks, Gary. C&H are my faves.

    1. A true support would have remembered on the day, not two days late. LOL. And at that I wasn’t sure if I was remembering the timing right or not. Still, I’m glad I said something, because this always makes my heart happy. (And I don’t even celebrate Christmas. I guess I celebrate ArghMas.)

  2. Thank you Jenny and Deb!
I had not heard the full song by the Drifters
It is perfect. I love bass/ baritone soloists and then the super tenor is the cherry on top.

  3. I just noticed that Dreadful is on sale for $1.99. I read the sample and it’s pretty funny. A powerful and vicious wizard has amnesia from a fiery spell gone wrong, and has to figure out who, and what, he is, without admitting weakness. There are goblins, and assorted other non-humans, and a princess.

  4. The space station arc! Definitely the most ambitious thing I had attempted in the comic at that point, and honestly beyond my capabilities at the time. But that’s how you grow- you bite off more than you can chew, and you fuckin figure out how to chew it anyway. And then you choke a little and cough bits of food all over the place and everyone at the restaurant stares at you and you realize that the metaphor has escaped containment and is rampaging through the countryside. I forgot where I was going with this. -Jeph Jacques, QUESTIONABLE CONTENT

I forgot where I was going with this.

I mentioned that we have acquired a second kitten. She is Luna November Stables, rescued from the shelter. I was not carrying my phone when we were introduced, so pictures will wait, but she is mostly white with a few black splotches.
