Pssst: You Can Order the Lavender Trade Paperback Now [ETA: And Hardcover]

You can order Lavender’s Blue right now in paperback because Bob uploaded it last night. Warning: It’s $15.99 which seems high for a paperback, but there it is. He’ll load the hardcover up in the next couple of days, I think, but that’s going to be somewhere around $26.00 (I had to lie down when he told me that) so if you want print, the trade is probably the way to go. And the e-book will go live on the 25th for $4.99, so there’s that.

I just can’t believe that book is finally going to be here. Here’s your link.. (No, I haven’t seen it in real life yet, fingers crossed it looks good. Amazon says mine will be here Saturday, but Bob says not until the 17th and Bob is usually right.)

ETA: And the hardcover is live now, too.

  1. Amazon says I’ll get my paperback on Sunday?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Excellent! Thank you and Congratulations!

Will the trade paperback also be available outside of Amazon?

    1. It’s in expanded distribution which means it’s available outside of Amazon. But realistically no one will rack it, but a bookstore should order it if you ask.

  3. Whoa, $21.33 paperback and $33.33 for hardcover Canadian dollars. Had to sit down. Preordered on Nook. Looking forward to reading the series. Yay.

    1. Yeah, I don’t even want to look at the exchange rate to AUD, let alone the delivery cost. Digital will do for me.

  4. So exciting to see a book written and published in such a short span of time — it reminds me of the heyday of pop music singles, when Neil Young could write Ohio and release it barely a month after the event that it chronicled.

    1. Short span of time? I started Lavender in 2004.
But yeah, it’s fast once Bob gets a finished ms.

      1. Oops, I totally forgot that this project started so long ago! I was thinking about the three months that you worked on all three books!

  5. There are a few things I indulge in. And, you have given the best early birthday gift from me to me (birthday next month). Just ordered the hardcover right now, and am hugging myself that I will get to do this again, and yet again!

  6. Ebook and paperback are pre-ordered. Whichever shows up first it fine with me! Lol

  7. Yay! I waffled between the hardback and the paperback for my apocalypse library but ultimately decided on the paperback. I don’t know why, but I just like them better. I will read the digital version.

  8. This is so exciting!!! I can’t wait to read them all!! I’ve been waiting since 2004 with all the tantalizing teasers you shared.

    1. We don’t know. Audio is expensive to produce, and we’re up to our necks now in digital and print.
But it’s possible, down the road.
