  1. Daily milkshakes in September! I can support that.

I love grasshoppers – a blend of vanilla ice cream, creme de cocoa, and creme de mint.

  2. In New England you can have a milkshake or a frappe or a cabinet. A milkshake is milk and syrup, a frappe or a cabinet is with ice cream. A cabinet is mostly a Rhode Island drink. And so on. My favorite is nonshake a root beer float.

  3. Actually, that might be a good dinner idea this week. It’s supposed to hit 100 a couple of days in a row next week, and that normally makes me both lazy, and not particularly hungry.

  4. Milkshakes strike me as something suitable for Summer not Autumn (Fall).

I’m a tea drinker. I’m enjoying a different blend of loose leaf Darjeeling tea at the moment. Regular daily tea is a Ceylon blend of some sort i.e. whatever the tea manufacturer puts in the regular brand we buy.

I had a hot chocolate brownie drink two weeks ago – I thought that it meant the brownie came on the side, but apart from a bite-size piece, the brownie was blended into the hot chocolate, nuts and all. Far too rich even thought I luuuurve cake in most of its forms including salmon and crab cakes.

  5. OMG, the whole month?

LOL, doesn’t matter. I don’t really drink milkshakes anyway. Ice cream has gotten kind of expensive. But what I do like is a frozen banana whizzed in milk and chocolate syrup. Mmmm! Same mouthfeel, half the calories and a little bit of virtuousness (although it might be imaginary — I don’t know if these things are really that great healthwise).

  6. I like mine with Kahlua instead (although I haven’t done that in years…hmmmm).

Sadly, I am trying to lose the 12 pounds I put on in the year I couldn’t exercise because of the knee injury (we’re not even talking about the 5 menopause pounds I couldn’t lose before that for love, money, or salad) before I go spend a week on the week in San Diego with my family mid-month. I might have one while I’m there, though.
