Deal: All the SMP Crusies for Twelve Bucks

Sure Thing told us about this in the comments yesterday:

I had no idea they were doing this, but those are the best books I’ve ever written. Seven books for twelve bucks is a good price, too. Huh.

Oh, and the first structure post is up over at Writing/Romance.

  1. They work out to a dollar, seventy-one each. And R186.68 total works out to R26.67 each. Am getting closer to the purchasing ledge. And I think this’ll be one of those “sometimes, when you fall, you fly” things. (Gaiman’s Sandman)

    Thanks SMP.

  2. I own all of them in print, sometimes in multiple copies. But I might have to get this anyway. I will certainly pass it on to my mother, who just read her first one and therefore needs all the rest.

  3. They’re not available to UK customers. When I followed the link, it said they weren’t available to purchase, and I ran a couple of searches on the UK Amazon site and could only discover them in German – which might work for a couple of us, but not for me.

I do have them all in paperback, so don’t feel too hard done by.

    1. That’s about to change. We just got the UK rights back, and I think SMP will make them available over there as soon as all the paperwork is done. Of course, that could be months, but in the future, it won’t be a problem.

      1. That’s great. I’ll keep a look out. The sooner publishers let go of all that historical stuff about different English-language territories, or at least co-ordinate so they all publish at the same time, the better. (And I realize it will look different from their end; I used to have to type up book contracts in the eighties, but the world was much larger and more various then.)

  4. What an incredible deal! I own all of these books, most in both hardback and in paperback, but didn’t even think twice before buying them for the Kindle. I didn’t even read the whole list before buying, just saw _Welcome to Temptation_ and a list of other names and that was enough for me. Now that I have read the whole list, I am so excited that I will always have these book that I love so much with me (I’m pretty much never without my phone or iPad 🙂 ). Gushing too much? Sorry.

  5. Like most of you, I’ve got these in paperback and hardcover. . . and I still grabbed the kindle editions. How could I not? Best. Books. Ever.

The deal is good in Canada too.

  6. I have them all in paper but I got the collection and immediately waded back in to Tell Me Lies. Love all these.

  8. I mobile browse and hardly ever use laptop. I decided to look the collection up and it seems we fall in UK Copyrightlandia.

By the time it’s all resolved, my car should be paid off and I should be able to buy the collection, but it better be at this price!

Btw, about the one review – it’s for the earlier 3-book bundle SMP released. Hence the person going “3 books.” “Star-crossed” sounds like someone feels honour-bound to review when the review email reminder comes and puts what will sound like a professional reviewer. Gotta give her points for that. I’m a busy/lazy-type and have never reviewed in 17 months of Kindle-ing.

  9. I got these yesterday after I saw Sure Thing’s post. I had been watching the prices on some of the individual books and at least one was $9.99 for Kindle. So this bundle at $11.99 was a steal even though I already have Welcome to Temptation and Bet Me in ebook form. (And of course I already own them all in paper, too!)

  10. I have every one of these in print format and would HIGHLY recommend each one! Welcome To Temptation is my absolute favorite, though?

  11. Thanks Surething!

Any idea what the price might be when the sale ends and any idea when that might be?

  12. I have all of these in paper and/or hardback and a couple on iBooks. Now I have the whole set on my Kindle. Great Deal! Thanks!

  13. I emailed dailycheapreads and they included it this morning.

Really a cool and useful thing for St. Martins to do.

I already have the all ebooks so I bought it for a friend with the Give as a Gift button 🙂

  14. Wow. Ever since I got my kindle I have been waiting for these books to be available in ebook format in the UK. Now I have hope…

    1. Hi, Jenny

Thanks for the heads-up on your collection. I already have them all in print (or “real books” format but decided to get them on my ebook as well. I re-read your books when I need some lightness in my life. I also re-read your books when I become too exasperated with the sloppy copy editing of so many of the ebooks (the great downside to that technology)! I wish all aspiring authors would read good writing by authors such as you, Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Anne Stuart. They could learn a lot!

Thank you so very much (all three of you) for the many wonderful hours I’ve spent with your books. I look forward to new books from you and more re-reads of the ones I already have.

      Sincerely,
      Jacqueline Brown
